Welcome to Scalvoto. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Scalvoto platform, owned and operated by Silbernstern Technologies. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Platform Definition & Scope
Scalvoto is a Decision Clarity Platform designed to connect users with independent experts for guidance and perspective. It is not a substitute for licensed professional services. Conversations on the platform are for informational and guidance purposes only. Scalvoto does not guarantee outcomes or decisions made by users.
2. User Eligibility & Account Rules
You must be at least 18 years old to use Scalvoto. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Impersonation is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms, without prior notice for serious violations.
3. Expert Relationship Disclaimer
Experts on Scalvoto are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Scalvoto. We are not responsible for the opinions, advice, or content provided by experts. No employer-employee, agency, or partnership relationship is formed between Scalvoto and the experts. Experts are solely responsible for their statements and conduct.
4. No Professional Advice Disclaimer
Scalvoto is not a licensed provider of medical, legal, financial, or mental health services. The platform does not provide:
- Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Legal advice or representation.
- Financial or investment advice.
- Mental health therapy or diagnosis.
- Emergency support services.
You must consult a qualified, licensed professional where required for your specific situation.
5. User Responsibility & Decision Liability
All decisions and actions taken by you based on conversations on Scalvoto are solely your responsibility. You acknowledge and agree that Scalvoto and its experts are not liable for any outcomes, losses, or damages resulting from your decisions.
6. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds
Our services are provided on a subscription basis. By purchasing a plan, you agree to the pricing and terms specified. We utilize Razorpay for payment processing. Generally, all purchases are final and non-refundable, especially for any used portion of a session or subscription period. Any exceptions are at our sole discretion.
7. Chat & Communication Rules
You agree not to engage in harassment, abuse, solicitation, or any illegal activities on the platform. Do not share personal contact information. We reserve the right to monitor communications for safety and to enforce these rules. Violations may result in account termination.
8. Data Usage & Privacy
Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms, details how we collect, store, and use your data. We use Firebase for data storage and comply with applicable data protection laws, including the Indian IT Act.
9. Intellectual Property
The Scalvoto brand, UI, and platform logic are the exclusive property of Silbernstern Technologies. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or scrape our content. Users retain ownership of their message content, but grant Scalvoto a license to store and display it for the purpose of providing the service.
10. Expert Content & Liability
Experts are responsible for the content they provide. Scalvoto does not verify or endorse the accuracy of expert opinions. We reserve the right to remove any expert or content that violates our policies.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scalvoto and Silbernstern Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or emotional distress. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid us in the six (6) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scalvoto, its parent company Silbernstern Technologies, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
13. Platform Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or failures of third-party services like Firebase.
14. Expert Availability Disclaimer
Expert availability is dynamic and not guaranteed. While we strive for 24x7 coverage, we are not liable for the temporary unavailability of any specific expert.
15. Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user or expert account at our discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to abuse, fraud, or violation of our policies.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

19. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or failures of third-party infrastructure (e.g., internet, cloud providers).
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Scalvoto and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
